It's dozens and dozens of elephant seals.
It's birthing season. Maybe this is a cub?
After we went to see the elephant seals we went to Hearst Castle.
It was decorated for Christmas.
Bea was a good girl considering a 13 month old does not have much interest in early 20th century architecture.

I LOVE Hearst Castle. Still have fond memories of visiting there, oh, 20 years ago (how?). Maybe Bea will appreciate it more when she's a teenager. Great pics!
