10.1.11

This is the last month we'll ever get to say "This is the first (INSERT MONTH HERE) that Bea's ever seen."  Crazy.

Also crazy was how I let her wear Phillies stuff today.   And we'll probably be wearing the Eagles Shirt Aunt Julie and Uncle Rick got us tomorrow.  ::Sigh:: is it inevitable that my daughter is going to be a Philly sports girl?

Bea has a ton of new tricks.  She can get off our bed by herself (scooting backwards and sliding off).  She says "Hi" and waves.  She says what sounds like "Bye" and also waves.  I think she says "At!" for cat.  She claps on command.  Hugs sometimes on command.  And most impressive of all can now stand unassisted for quite a while.  This video she's not standing for long, but it's like she lost her fear.  She used to stand when she was holding objects in both hands and distracted.  Then when she realized what was going on she'd get scared and lower herself to the ground.  Now (to paraphrase Popeye) she stands til she can't stands no more!
